These are some pics from my old office at Raleigh Studios (Manhattan Beach Studios) in California when i worked for CSI: Miami.  The office was filled to the brim with Special FX models by the time the show ended in 2012, the bathroom even had stuff! As you can see there are all kinds of body parts and strange oddities.  My work involved creating special fx  prosthetics and models for key storytelling points for each episode. My specialty was making models for the special CSI Shots where they dive into the body or go extreme closeup on something to show DNA, gun shot residue, fingerprints, etc… This often included kinetic rigging and animatronics to simulate organ function/failure due to criminal acts of violence or other strange things that can happen in a crime drama.
